"She didn't quit," is the first thing Ianto says when Jack comes up from the morgue. "Did she? It really was an accident! Oh, I feel like such a twat."

Gwen snorts.

"Relax," Jack says. "She knows it wasn't on purpose."

Tosh nods and leans across her desk to give Ianto a reassuring smile. "It's nobody's fault, Ianto. It was just an accident."

"And no harm done," Gwen agrees. "Just a bloody nose."

Ianto looks, if possible, even guiltier at that.

Tosh grins. "Just remember. Next time Jack hires someone shorter than me, keep track of your elbows."

Ianto groans.

*giggles* Poor Ianto, the girl was too far below his eyeline for him to know she was there.

I once took a uni class--the sociology of sports--which was a favorite among several of the students there on sports teams, including the basketball team, and I got elbowed in the face *three times* by mistake that semester. XD So I had to do that to a character at some point.
